What?

Today is a tiring day. I woke up early the morning just because I forgot that today is a holiday. And I had spent my day in front of the computer, doing some typing and thinking work. Setting Math worksheet! Nah, it’s Primary 1 Math, Addition and Subtraction within 20. I want to bow to the entire Primary School Math teacher. They are amazing. Image I only got number 0 to 20 to play with to set so many sums and problems to do, and got to make sure I don’t set out of the things that they haven’t learn. It was a big headache because I only have a few numbers to play with. Thank goodness I completed the 2-revision worksheet on the topic. And I do feel proud, when the teacher is using the worksheet to teach, the feeling, is so incredible.

Oh well, but I was like too lazy to think of story sum, we call it problem sums when I was in primary school. So my story sum is almost the same, it just that I change mother to father in second worksheet, candy bars to sweets, house to shop, and so on and so for. I NEVER CHANGE THE NUMBER, yet my dear sister can make the same mistake. And she is taking that topic of test tomorrow. Oh, so nervous, even the tutor teacher them again and again yet it seem that she don’t really understand. All thanks to my parent don’t know how to teach but anyhow teach. She teaches her this way: when you see the word “altogether”, “at first” you must add. So I was think, it not true, you must read the whole thing before knowing is it add or minus, I look at some school pass years paper, and set one of a tricky question to make sure they don’t make the mistake that led by their parent in their test.

The Question is:
David has 14 sweets after his mother gave him 6.
How many sweets does David at first.

And of course you must get 14 – 6 to get the answer but my sister was adding 14 to 6. See, parent fault! I set a similar question in the second revision worksheet yet the same mistake make! All the thanks to the parent, so after lesson, at home I was keep on stressing this again and again. I got a feeling that it will come out in tomorrow test. So nervous for her test tomorrow, not forgetting to wish her classmate who I know them all the best in tomorrow test. So young, yet have to face the pain of stress. Ha! Ha!

Ok, Got to go, it’s late now. Pray for the kids, hope that do well in their test tomorrow…
